Minutes for GYA Meeting
Members Present:
Shane Edwards, Brandon Gillespie, Bobby Woodard, Cherie Connor, Steve Fletcher, Terry Carr, Tonya Newman, Sara Price, Robert Franze, and Donna Harvey
Meeting called to order at 8:45 PM on April 25, 2005
Old Business: None mentioned or passed on.
Cherie Connor did present GYA with a summary for Monthly income and expenses through April 2005. Cherie advised refunds to individuals were for ineligible children signed up for T-Ball (Children were to young to be covered with GYA insurance)
New Business:
Brandon Gillespie made a motion to have Terry Carr elected Secretary for GYA.
Bobby second the motion.
Shane Edwards passed the vote with all in favor.
Terry Carr made a motion to move the GYA meetings to the first Monday of every month at 7PM

Shane Edwards asked if there were any questions or concerns? Tonya Newman asked if the Princeton coach situation had been addressed. Bobby stated that a written formal complaint was made and sent.
Baseball:
Discussion was made about an incident that happened with David R.’s baseball team and the cancellation of a scheduled game. Mr. Edwards advised this cannot and will not be allowed. It was decided that David R. will pay forfeit fee (to cover umpires) to Celina. Mr. Edwards asked Bobby to handle this situation.
Mr. Edwards asked who pays for umpires in Gunter when no Gunter teams are playing? Bobby advised if Gunter hosts the game in town then Gunter is responsible, however there are 3 times that Celina uses the fields and they are Responsible for paying the umpires.
Bobby stated that the All Star Baseball Tournament was the week of June 24, 25, and 26.
Cherie wants sponsor information/payment. She stated she has 16 teams and only 12 have paid. Bobby presented checks from sponsors for Platinum Electric $200.00 and Martinex Grain $200.00. Cherie advised we still need Cub Zone and Dental Arts Sponsor payment.
Track:
Cherie stated that the Track meet hosted in Gunter Is June 25.
The Track Committee would like to charge:
$15 per New entry
$10 for Repeat entry with Shirt
$2 per event participated
$10 for Late Registration
Registration is May 14, 2005 from 10am – 2pm
